The company is named after the family pet, Fergus. Fergus was a very special boy and worked as a Therapy Dog, and he is pictured to the left meeting Louise Minchin on the BBC News one morning with Wendy.
He was calm and very patient; he, along with our previous dogs, is what drove us to look into better dog food for the whole family of dogs in our care today.

All our rescue dogs needed highly nutritional food and invariably suffered from medical and health issues, all relating to poor diets and a poor start to their life.

Fergus, a pedigree Wolfhound, having been fed well from the start, showed us the difference a really good diet for your dog can make to their entire lifespan. Years later, and after a lot of research, we were inspired to create FERGUSA.

The FERGUSA Family spans two generations. It is a pleasure to be able to take on Fergusa as it was and develop it into the brand today. Our passion is not only for dogs but also for cats, and so a rebrand was needed to take the business to the next level. So we would like to celebrate where the business started and yet welcome a new future ahead. Our dedication to all dog owners is what drives us to create amazing recipes and to develop more under the brand of Wolf & Whiskers.
